November Recap

Ok, I really just need to get this posted... I mean, how pathetic is it that it's almost February and I haven't posted our November recap yet?! Pretty pathetic. Then again, our last couple months have been pretty crazy...

* Date-night-movie-of-the-month: The Blind SideLOVED IT!! Loved Sandra Bullock, loved the story, would go see it again. Two thumbs up!!

* Dancing with the Stars: So excited to see Donny Osmond (and his partner Kym Johnson) get the mirror ball trophy!I actually called in and voted for him several times this month... Sean was also impressed that I actually wasn't rooting for a female to win.

* New Ethan Lingo and Random Pictures:

Eating cereal, watching the travel DVD player and using the headphones. Multi-tasking at its best!

* Thanksgiving: Sean and I broke with tradition this year and did not do the 5k Turkey Stuffer. We decided we were too broke (who wants to pay to run anyway?!) and too out of shape and just too dang lazy to get up early to go run/walk in the freezing cold! We were perfectly content to sleep in, nice and cozy, and watch the parade in our jammies!! :) We did, however, keep with the tradition of driving down to Glide to have Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's side of the family. We were a much smaller group this year - down 9 people just from last year. It ended up being my aunt and uncle and their youngest (Heather), my cousin John, his wife Stephanie and their boys, my parents and sisters, Christine's friend Scott and us. We had fun. Good food. Great company and conversation. And, of course, Rock Band. Even my mom got in on the action! She did vocals while everyone else played guitars/drums.

* Sean got (another) new (and better) job!! And thus the reason it's almost February and I haven't posted the November recap! But we are so, so thankful for it and our loving our new life up in Washington.

Well, now that that's finally done I can get busy on my December and January recaps!!
