* Date-night-movie-of-the-month: The Twilight Saga - New Moon
Not bad... Not great... Sorry Twilight fans. I am just not a Robert Pattinson fan. It was good to see - but not one I would watch again and again.* Packing, packing and more packing for the "big move"!
We actually didn't find out we even had a place until we were down in California. Sean looked at quite a few places while he was in Vancouver for training the week before Christmas. One duplex that he looked at (and took pictures on his cell) did not really appeal to me. The previous tenant was in the process of moving out and it was just hard to get a feel for the space. Luckily, the owner emailed Sean some pictures from the last remodel (fresh paint and updates) and that's what sold me on the place! It looked completely different. I faxed in our rental app on Christmas Eve and we got the ok early next week. What a relief to finally have a place to live!! :)* Christmas... Has its own post coming.
* SoCal trip... Has its own post coming.
* Springfield Christmas parade: This was actually only the second time I had ever gone. Since I wasn't in marching band, I never really went in high school and I almost always had to work that Saturday so I had not been in years. Anyway, I thought it would be fun for Ethan to watch so we made an effort to go. Our efforts paid off! Definitely a low-budget parade, but still fun to watch. Lots of fire trucks and classic cars to keep Ethan entertained. We also dragged Lizzy along for the ride - next year she'll be marching in it. :)

I'm hoping that this year's December is much more calm - no life-changing events or out-of-state moves to prepare for! Anyway... On to January's recap.

Go SHS MARCHING BAND! Yeah! We ROCK! :D
Anyway, boxes, boxes and more boxes! I now need to see your place *unpacked*.
I love the picture of E and Lizzy! (Lizzy was like, oh the sun makes my skin sparkle...like a vampire. Isn't she team Jacob? lol)
