Goodbye living room with the nice, vaulted ceilings. You were smaller than I would've liked, but still nice and cozy. Goodbye weird, corner fireplace that we were never allowed to use. I will miss decorating you, but not your ridiculously narrow mantle. Goodbye large front window. I will miss my little Ethan looking out you and the bright light you provided.

Goodbye solo bathroom. I will miss your large countertop, but have no desire to come in contact with its lemon yellowness again. Although, it was a good wake-me-up in the morning. I will also not miss the bathtub drain that we were finally able to unclog with some high-strength spendy stuff from Jerry's.

Goodbye Ethan's room. You were good to Ethan. You fit all his furniture, toys, clothes, etc. I will not miss your oddly located light switch though. I mean, really, who designed that?

Goodbye master bedroom with the double closets and bare walls. Maybe in our new place we will actually get around to decorating you and will stop making you the laundry room and dumping grounds for all things random. Maybe. (Yeah, like I'd take a picture of that!)
Goodbye insanely-large-for-a-duplex dining room. You served us well. Where else can your dining room also be your home office all the while comfortably housing an upright grand piano? We will miss your beautiful wood laminate floors and corner windows.

Goodbye kitchen. Thank you for all of the delicious meals and yummy treats you helped provide. It took a little while, but we really enjoyed having "everything in its place". I will miss the baking cupboard - it made throwing together a batch of cookies a snap!
I will miss the "cereal cupboard" - we loved the variety of being able to have 6-8 boxes of cereal on your shelf. Goodbye peninsula counter. Goodbye low-hanging cupboards with the sharp corner that we bumped our heads on countless times. I'm sorry to say we will not miss you. Thank you for never breaking skin or actually knocking us out cold. We really do appreciate that.

Goodbye one-car garage. We never really used you to house a car, but it was great to have all that extra storage and I particularly enjoyed the shelving that was already in place - made for a perfect pantry and start for our food storage.
[Stay tuned for pictures of the new place - I'm almost done unpacking!]

Good Luck with your new home : ) Hope you enjoy Washington!!
Wow, you are almost done packing already?? Good for you! Can't wait to see the new place! We will have to come by and visit sometime... probably not until April 15th when John is hopefully finally done with both the CPA and busy season :(. The boys and I might be available though! It looks like we aren't going to be managing for another few weeks. Hope you're getting to know the area up there!
**I meant un-packing
That really is quite the lemon colored counter top. I am looking forward to pictures of the new place.
