Like most kids, Ethan gets on specific movie/DVD sprees where he will only watch that one DVD over... and over... and over... and you get the idea. Well, his latest kick is:
Blue's Clues! So my mom bought him a DVD at Target which he pretty much watched to death in one weekend and decided he liked
Steve from the bonus episodes better that
Joe. I mean,
really, who doesn't like Steve better?! Anyway, for sanity sake we had to mix it up a little with some other Blue's Clues episodes (my sister Lizzy's old copies that my mom had saved) which meant,
drumroll please..... dusting off the
VCR part of our DVD player. That's right, these babies are on
VHS!! And they still work!!
And then there's part of Sean's father's day present....
hello 80's child!! I found this little baby in the $5 DVD bin at Walmart.
No, it is not the original He-Man series, it is a remake from 2004. Sean's been sick [
For like a week solid now! He finally went in to the doctor today and it turns out he has an upper respiratory infection. Ugh! Poor guy!!] and watched a few episodes. He says the animation, voices, plots, etc. are pretty close to the original.

I gotta say that the longevity of videos makes me love them so much more than DVD's. I can't tell you how many times we have rented a DVD only to have it scratched or filled with smudges.
