Saturday 5/7Our cheap date night at Ikea! This was the first time we had been since Ethan was both tall enough and potty-trained and thus able to go to their play area. After 20 minutes in line and getting Ethan all checked in, we had one whole glorious hour to ourselves so we went and had dinner upstairs. Sean had pasta w/ meatballs and I finally tried their swedish meatballs w/ mashed potatoes. Gotta love that we each had an entree w/ a salad, shared a drink and shared dessert for a whopping $13! Plus, free baby-sitting! I think Ikea date night will become a regular thing at our house. ;)

Triple chocolate cake. Our shared dessert from Ikea. The (middle) cake part was alright, but the thick, mousse layers it was sandwiched between were the best!
Sunday 5/8
Ethan made me a cereal necklace in his Sunbeams class. Then he started munching on it while I was wearing it. So I gave it back. And he went to town eating it up!

Sneak-peak at the hand-painted flower pots we sent off to the grandmas for Mother's Day.
