As much as Ethan can be a little DESTRUCT-O, he is also a very sweet and loving little boy. And now, as he continues to learn new words and expressions every day, I am pleasantly surprised at how polite he can be already!
He says "Please!" when he wants or needs something and "Thank you!" when you give it to him - usually without prompting him first.
He also says "Bless you!" if he hears someone sneeze.
It's just so cute to hear these new expressions in his little voice. I love it! And I'm glad he's learning some manners already, even if he does turn around and pull all of the books out his bookcase or throw his dinner on the floor... again.

I love little kid manners. They are the cutest. Reagan will tell the couch or other objects excuse me if they are in her way!
That's boys for you isn't it. They are so rambunctious and at times destructive but mean well and love so much. I'm a little partial to boys right now :). Gotta love them.
That's my man.
he is such a cutie! And its nice that he is so polite! (even when he is throwing his lunch on the floor...)
I love my nephew :)
They catch on pretty quick, huh? And it always makes you feel proud to hear them tell someone else please and thank you.
Hey, how did your drive down to California go? I hope the roads were ok for you guys..... they are horrible right now. We are not going make it down there. It took us 5 hours yesterday just to get from our place to Salem!! We had to stay in a hotel and drive the rest of it today. It was a horrible experience and we decided it is not worth the risk and stress for us to even temp the 16 hour drive with the kids to Cal. So we are staying here in Glide until we can get back up to Portland safely- we may be here awhile!
Well hopefully all the passes are clear and safe for you guys on your drive back! Have a very merry christmas!!
