So it seems that there is a bit of a baby boom going on with my friends and family right now. In the last 6 months, I know 28 women who have been pregnant - 10 have already delivered healthy, beautiful babies. Another 8 are due in the next 2 months - a couple are ready to pop any day now! The rest are due sometime next year, including the 4 I have found out about in the past week. Four women! In a week!! And it's only Thursday!!! That doesn't include the friend that I already knew about, but just announced her big news on Tuesday. Phew. I tell you, prego women are taking over the world.

And for the record, no, this is not an announcement that I am joining them. I am very NOT pregnant right now. Although, all of these babies does get me thinking... ;) But not yet.

Seriously, I concur!! It occured to me the other day, as I met the latest in a string of newborns my friends have had, that I have had AT LEAST one friend who is pregnant, if not more, at any one time, since approx. August of 2005. And I'm probably forgetting someone who was pregnant then! It's out of control! But I'm very happy for all of them :)
more babies!
i want more babies!
:]
i miss my niece and nephews SOOOOOO badly!
hehe, I was thinking you were going to announce yourself. Good thing you added a disclaimer.
I agree though, it seems like babies are coming from everywhere lately. In Dan's family there are 3, out of 5 girls, due march, april, then may of next year.
Oh come on you know you want to join the club!!!
Ha, ha! Your blog made me LOL. It is funny when you're thinking about babies or pregnancy you see it every where but 28 women, sheesh!
lol....28??? That's SOOO many. You know a lot of people. This is weird, but sometimes when I'm in line at the store or something, I'll look at all the people and think, wow, a mom was pregnant with every one here....and then I'll think, but I barely ever see pregnant ladies....how did all these people get here? lol. I know, that's really weird, but I think it sometimes.

4 people in 1 week, really?? Talk about a baby boom!i felt the exact same way- that everyone i knew was pregnant or just had a baby, And then the next thing i knew i was pregnant too, so beware! :)
I agree. When I was pregnant, there were 12 other pregnant women in my ward ... not to mention the jumbo-sized nursery. It's not 28, but it's significant.
Well, I know I won't complain about more beautiful Southworth babies!
